Makes 5 Dozen Cookies ( Roughly )
Sift Together:
2 1/4 cups sifted All purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Blend Together & Cream well
3/4 cup crisco
1 cup sugar
Add 2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend in the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly then
Add :
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup Chopped Dates
1/3 cup Maraschino Cherries
chopped
Then Drop by spoons fulls into 2 1/2 cups Corn Flakes crushed and toss lightly, to coat and form into balls. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and top with 1/2 maraschino cherry.
Bake at 375 f for 12-15 minutes
